Increases to UK Home Office Application Fees
The Home Office has introduced an increase in the application fees for the following types of applications.
| Application Type | Cost from 1 April 2005 |
| HSMP | 315 GBP |
| IED / LTR (Postal) | 335 GBP |
| IED / LTR (Premium) | 500 GBP |
These changes will come into effect from 1 April 2005. The new Premium service will allow applications to be made in person, thus speeding up the processing of such applications.
The new Premium Service will only be available to those seeking Leave to Remain in the following categories:
- Work Permit – main scheme
- Work Permit – Sectors Based Scheme
- TWES – Training and Work Experience Scheme
- SAWS – Seasonal Agricultural Workers Scheme
