Home Office Roll out eVisa Registration To All
The Home Office have now opened up registration for the new eVisas to all.
The Home Office have been transitioning away from physical visas, known as BRPs (Biometric Residence Permits) to online eVisas and they have now opened up registration to all visa holders who currently hold a BRP. For those who have lost their BRP, they can register for a UKVI account and gain access to their eVisa using their passport and the application reference number for their most recent application.
The process required is to register for a UKVI account, if you do not already have one, and then apply to link your UKVI account to your eVisa.
Applicants should add their passport to their UKVI account and make that their primary ID document. This will allow them to log into their UKVI account using their passport instead of their BRP and it will associate their visa status with their passport, removing the need to carry a BRP.
If applicants get a new passport then they will need to update their account with the new passport information.
